Wow, this is lovely. Awesome work.
Wow, this is lovely. Awesome work.
Thanks a lot!
This is awesome, all the instruments sound great. Are those real horns or sampled?
Thanks for the review. All brass instruments, guitar and bass are real. Drums and tubular bells are VST.
Superb! I like this a lot. Kind of reminds me of Nobuo Uematsu. I almost wish that ending note would of been held a moment longer though. Everything sounds great, such a warm sounding piano and the piece flows really well. Great work!
I'm glad you like it! Nobuo Uematsu is certainly one of my inspirations :)
That said, this piece is also quite inspired by Yoko Shimomura!
Funny thing is, the ending note was longer at first, but I liked it better when it was short and to the point, like it is now. Thank you for the review, and ofc, for listening!
Beautiful, really nice
Thanks for listening!
I like the lead melody, pretty catchy and the atmosphere has interesting twists and turns. The bass could be brought out more though if anything. Maybe some light pads added on top as well especially when the melody comes back at the end to add another dimension of evil
Im glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback :D I will try to fill your desires next time
lol good on you to take matters into your own hands, and with great results. Sounds excellent! Just another reminder i need to listen to more Castlevania OST's
Hi,
Thanks a lot I'm glad you like it, and yes, Castlevania's OST are awesome! :)
Cool! Could almost use some more bass, though maybe not. Its got a good vibe, really chill with the rain in the background.
Thanks for your opinion :D
Great movement, i really like the intensity near the end. The song is really well done, the recording is pretty rough, and pretty stiff in some parts. But that's just part of using MIDI or whatever software you have available. Good work otherwise, well done!
Hey thanks. Yeah, I mainly just write everything in Sibelius and do everything else in Logic, and normally I have plenty of time to do all the nice finishing touches, but when you have only an hour to work on something, there are certain steps you skip or forget :P
Fun and upbeat! It feels very fresh all the way through. It doesn't stay in the same place very long and progresses really nice. The mix sounds really good too. Well done on this one!
Thank you much for your review and comments. They're much appreciated!
